Our Story Just Began
Forest Safari Retreat was founded in 2025 with a simple vision – to create a nature-first homestay that offers modern comfort in the heart of Western Ghats, a UNESCO world heritage site. While our doors have only recently opened, our team brings years of local expertise, hospitality training and a deep-rooted connection with Dandeli’s people, flora and fauna.

Right from the beginning, we wanted to to build something different – a homestay to experience the tranquility of an exclusive retreat, where our guests can truly unwind, explore and reconnect without the distractions of a crowded resort.

Our adventure activities, including river rafting, kayaking and zipline, cater to age groups above 10 years. We ensure that activities are safe and supervised by trained professionals. Whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced adventurer, we have something for everyone.

How far is the HomeStay from Dandeli town?
We are located at just a 15 mins drive from Dandeli town.
Is the HomeStay pet-friendly?
We love animals, but for the safety and comfort of all guests, pets are not allowed in the HomeStay. We appreciate your understanding.
What is the best time to visit Dandeli?
The best time to visit Dandeli is from October to March, when the weather is cooler and perfect for outdoor activities. However, the HomeStay is open year-round and we offer a variety of activities in every season.
What types of accommodation do you offer?
Our guest can enjoy the charm of a African Luxury Safari Tent in 6, 4 or a 2 sharing accommodation
